  • Was there kind of in the off season, but the staff was very friendly and patient. Neat layout, easy to find and would be a super place in the summer. I'll definitely go back.  more »
  • Great atmosphere, sample moonshine and wine, interesting food. Friendly staff. Great place for a event.  more »
  • Every time we go up I-79 we stop and visit. A great place to enjoy a bottle of wine, interact with the locals and enjoy their planned activities.  more »

  • What an great place to visit! Sure, sure there are plenty of wineries to visit - but THIS one - just fun! We first stopped into the tasting room and spent some time with Cathy and learn SO much about the place [and the wine, moonshine - of course] We enjoyed the names on the bottles, as each product is named after one of the farm animals from the family farm. - We walked out with arms full of great wine and other gifts for family and friends - then slipped over into the restaurant to a nibble! Wow! What great food! - Outside you can see that the place is family friends [from the pavilions below for weddings, to the small spots for kids and family to spend time outdoors. - We also enjoyed the adventure of the drive out through Fairmont to visit. Think you will too!
  • I have visited the restaurant twice. The first time was in August 2015 and while I loved the outdoor setting, and the wine I ordered was delicious, the food was extremely expensive, and my fried green tomatoes were honestly awful. I again visited a few days ago, and was again dissatisfied with the food. We ordered spinach artichoke crab dip. The appetizer came out absolutely scorching hot with a nice layer of grease covering all of the cheese. After blistering the roof of my mouth even after blowing on my bite of the dip, I was disappointed to find very little crab or artichoke. It was mostly just very oily cheese. Finally our steak and potatoes came out and I was, once again, disappointed. My potato was small and dry and mine and my boyfriend's steak were medium-well to well-done despite ordering medium rare and medium steaks. The flavor MIGHT be on par with your every day steak restaurant. The service was just okay and for the price of the food and the quality we received, I would not recommend visiting.
  • Great food. Most of their wines are okay if not a bit dry. Better than average selection of beer. The outdoor seating is relaxing.
  • We will be going back but mostly because the owner was entirely gracious and kind about our bad food and service. Rusted lettuce, cold fried food , absent server, etc. Our server was nowhere to be found so we found a manager who turned out to really be the owner. She was incredibly understanding, explained it was a weird between- shift time, and apologized. Five stars for authentic customer care. Fewer stars for the food, but we'll be back at a less hectic time of day to see What the food's like when the chef is in.
  • We were regular customers until recently due to very poor food quality over the last few months. The most recent experience was a complete disaster. The two steaks ordered were the both undercooked and a different size then ordered. In addtion to the improperly prepared steaks we did not recieve the sides we ordered and did not included the listed sause with the appetizer in are to go order.
