  • I wish I had pictures! I forgot about it until we had nearly demolished our delicious crepes which came to the table with an incredible salad with a viognier vinagrette made from the wine produced at the vineyard. This vineyard is REALLY gorgeous even in the winter and the really sweet, nice staff was a lot of fun to be around. Wines, all good. We didn't do a tasting but we did try the recommended wine pairings with our crepes and at the end, a glass of their port style wine, Meditation, which was excellent.
  • DelFosse has the most beautiful, breathtaking views that are perfect for photos. If you are a blogger or Instagrammer, and love to take photos, just like I do.. you will fall in love with it here. You could spend hours exploring and looking at the gorgeous views! My mom and grandmother got to enjoy wonderful wine, they choose the full flight of wine tasting selection, which was 12 wines for $10. Their favorite was the Meritage, which is a Gold medal winner as well as Monticello Wine Cup winner. We signed up for their FREE wine club list, and this month they are offering the Meritage for $21.00 (Reg. $30) I purchased a bottle for both of them for Christmas! We will definitely be back!! Love it here.
  • We were there for Crepe Sunday, which happened to be on Valentine's Day. I think they only have crepes twice a month, so check the website before you go. We made reservations online. The tasting room was gorgeous with all the tables set with linen tables cloths and the fireplace roaring. There were both savory and sweet crepe offerings. We had the Salmon crepe, the mixed vegetable crepe and for dessert, we split a banana nutella crepe! All the crepes came out to our table hot and freshly made. Several people nearby had ordered the fresh fruit and cheese plate. They looked delicious (the cheese plates, not the people haha). We were primarily there for the wine, of course, and enjoyed a bottle of the Cab Franc, which is our favorite DelFosse wine. We had a great experience.
  • Delfosse is a french family who take great pride in their winemaking skills and delicious crepes. Beautiful grounds and a superb staff. Highly recommended!
  • The property surrounding DelFosse Vineyard is absolutely lovely. We did a tasting and we very much liked all the wines, even the sweeter ones, which is usually not our preference, but they were all interesting to try. Our server Kyle was very enjoyable to chat with about the various wines, and we ended up buying a bottle of the 2013 Petit Verdot, which won a place in the Virginia Govenor's Case. It was fantastic. We sat outside on the patio to drink it and soaked in the incredible views.
