  • We really enjoy when the otters are out, we wish they would have the trainers interact with them more. Kids love the water feature so bring water boots and a towel or change of clothes if you have lit...  more »
  • Small but informative with lots of interesting habitats to explore. Great place for families, school field trips or just to hang out and learn about the animals.
  • The place is beautiful. Many gigantic redwood trees. Rest rooms, benches and a little road thru the park to check out the trees. Walking trails thru the woods make it even more outdoorsy in the middle...  more »

  • For being such a small zoo it is cute! The otters and red pandas were our favorites. Definitely more of an environment for kids not adults. Otherwise great facility
  • Loved it! It's very very small, but there are lots of animal feedings with worker's talks about them, we learned a lot and enjoyed. And there's a wonderful stream pool, kids played there for hours... And a goats petting area :) Wonderful stuff.
  • If you want a real redwood experience you need to go south or north to see the old growth redwoods. Sequoia Park has some impressive redwoods but it lacks the giants to the north or south. On the other hand if you're in town and want some place for the kids to play plus get in some redwoods. This is the place with a playground, picnic sites, and miles of trails in under the redwoods.
  • My kids LOVE the water play area where they get to pump their own water and watch it trickle down the attack stream bed. This zoo has done a good job of designing interesting and interactive exhibits such as the otter viewing tunnel that extends under water, the giant eagle's nest, the wall-through aviary, and the barn/petting area.
  • Very small but amazing zoo. The entire property is spotless and well maintained. Very reasonable entrance fees. Worth the trip just to see the Red Pandas. Use Google Maps because there are no road signs for the zoo at all.
