  • The zoo is actually located in a very pleasant redwood setting that provides an abundance of animals and is adjacent to sequoia park as well as the gardens.
  • The river otter exhibit is the best I've seen. My grandkids loved it. This is a really great small zoo. Very reasonable entrance fee. Lots for small kids to do.
  • Don't miss this zoo!!! While it's small, it's just perfect to take a break from the ocean and the redwoods and spend the afternoon there. Very clean, the zookeepers are friendly, and the animals inter...  read more »
  • My kids LOVE the water play area where they get to pump their own water and watch it trickle down the attack stream bed. This zoo has done a good job of designing interesting and interactive exhibits such as the otter viewing tunnel that extends under water, the giant eagle's nest, the wall-through aviary, and the barn/petting area.
  • Great small zoo, worth the family pass if you have a kiddo who likes to walk or play in water. Yes, that fountain in the front as you walk in is full of children having fun, which is pretty much worth half the cost of the family pass itself. If you turn left and keep going, past the awesomely cute red pandas, you'll get to the farm area which is also extremely kid friendly. Now get your kids off the couch and petting some goats!
  • Went on a Wednesday and payed half price. Totally worth the full price though! Spider monkeys! Red pandas! River otters! All the animals were really cute. Watched the river otters get fed. They were so excited for fish and carrots.
  • Affordable family outing. Great for kids of all ages and even adults. Discounts daily if your a Eureka resident. Good food as well as a friendly staff. Worth the small price to pay.
  • Really cool, amazing quality and diversity for such a small zool. Kids absolutely loved it
