  • My son and I are traveling on Spring Break and stopped here for a few hours. Great value, nice simple exhibits and fantastic setting. We really enjoyed the raptor exhibit, the otters and of course the...  more »
  • This place is a very small zoo located amongst the sequoia trees. Don't expect to see large African game animals here. Think smaller. Like Yaks, Bald Eagle, Salmon, Pink Flamingos, Spider Monkeys, etc...  more »
  • What a great zoo! It's small but it doesn't feel like it if you take the time to look at each exhibit. The zoo staff are knowledgeable and you can tell that they spend a lot of time with the animals a...  more »

  • For being such a small zoo it is cute! The otters and red pandas were our favorites. Definitely more of an environment for kids not adults. Otherwise great facility
  • Loved it! It's very very small, but there are lots of animal feedings with worker's talks about them, we learned a lot and enjoyed. And there's a wonderful stream pool, kids played there for hours... And a goats petting area :) Wonderful stuff.
  • If you want a real redwood experience you need to go south or north to see the old growth redwoods. Sequoia Park has some impressive redwoods but it lacks the giants to the north or south. On the other hand if you're in town and want some place for the kids to play plus get in some redwoods. This is the place with a playground, picnic sites, and miles of trails in under the redwoods.
  • My kids LOVE the water play area where they get to pump their own water and watch it trickle down the attack stream bed. This zoo has done a good job of designing interesting and interactive exhibits such as the otter viewing tunnel that extends under water, the giant eagle's nest, the wall-through aviary, and the barn/petting area.
  • Very small but amazing zoo. The entire property is spotless and well maintained. Very reasonable entrance fees. Worth the trip just to see the Red Pandas. Use Google Maps because there are no road signs for the zoo at all.
