  • Interesting . Felt it was well worth the money. History for sure. Not hard to find. Women that did all the stone work, did some tedious work.
  • This is a most interesting place to visit. The history behind this house is so funny. The wife had a design for a house in her mind. The husband wasn't that interested. He comes home one day to find t...  read more »
  • The house, not castle, was interesting but the rock creations were so numerous it kinda creeped me out. There were several creative pieces but there were so many pieces it made me wonder. It was proba...  read more »
  • When we arrived, we were met at the gate by the woman who lives there at 4:15. The website said she was open until 5:00. She was not friendly or pleasant, and acted like we were bothering her, by showing up to give her money. She stated that she was closing in 15 minutes, and that this is not her only job. My husband and I were taken aback by her tone and started to leave, then she said, we'll if you can go through in 15 minutes, you can come in. She charged us the full amount. Once inside the gate she repeated that we must be out in 15 min. We rushed through the house and grounds, and we're waiting for her to unlock the gate so we could leave, with another family, because she unlocked it to let us in. She finally came out and said angrily, you all have to leave now! We explained we were waiting for her, and she yelled it's unlocked! I'm following you out! This was not worth the money, the house has a strong odor of dirt in it, and someone needs to be nicer to her customers!
  • Super unique experience! The owner was very sweet and well informed and the grounds were beautiful. Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience to hear the story associated with the house.
  • We first went before we even moved to Eureka Springs. We now go every few years and always take guests when they come to town. This property is everything Eureka is: magical, quirky, lovely. The house mimics world famous architecture and was built many, many years before them. The garden is beautiful and anyone who loves rocks and geology and artistry will be enthralled.
  • If you like flowers, rocks, and indoor plants you: you will like it. If you like neat and tidy gardens, probably not the place for you.
  • We were greeted by the owner who was not friendly. We brought our children as it says we can. The owner clearly didn't not want them there and and was so rude. If you do not want children to come make it clear. The house, not castle, was very interesting but small. We were done in about 20 minutes
