  • The railroad has a very short length of track (only about 2 miles) so riding out and back takes only about 90 minutes. This is offset by very interesting activity at each end of the track. At the stat...  more »
  • This tour ride was educational entertaining as well as family friendly, totally enjoyed the personal touch of the conductor and history lesson shared.
  • Waste of money and time the train was late and you take in more sights just driving yourself it was just a bunch of trees no real scenery. Terrible and if you are interested in getting a 15 dollar nap...  more »

  • My husband and I rode the train for dinner. It had great ambience and atmosphere! I loved how original it looked! The service was awesome! The food was good, but the prime rib was a little dry. The dessert (baked Alaska) was amazing! Would have loved to go further in the ride rather than stop to eat dinner, even though the scenery at the creek was nice. The setting was very romantic! I would do it again and recommend it to anyone.
  • This is a lovely experience for families. The train dining trip is not a long one, but it sure makes you appreciate not having to make multiple day rail trips across country and eating en route! We all had a blast!
  • Midday excursion was enjoyable more for the stories and history imparted by the conductor than for the ride itself. Ride was slow and didn't offer many spectacular views. Just mostly ran alongside 23 highway and a small creek bed. But it was the personable and experienced conductor who made it all worthwhile.
  • Neat little piece of history. What else can u say, it a working steam locomotive and it's awesome! The track is really short compared to others that I have ridden out west, but still nice to ride and well worth the price of a ticket
  • Just went on the excursion portion, but everyone in my family enjoyed it. The conductor was great, and they even let us get out and put coins on the track, which my son loved.
