This is a hard one to write but I think I need to. This is my Alma Mater - one in which I should have over-the-top pride. I completed both an undergrad and a grad degree through this institution. And ... read more »
The UO campus is very inviting; people overall are friendly. Eugene is a college town and as such has many sports bars and pubs. Restaurants are generally casual. Fall is a beautiful time to visit.
Beautiful campus and sports facilities for even a tourist to check out. Very friendly students that we came in contact with
Give the University of Oregon and its faculty under the leadership of President Michael Schill a few years and you will begin to see the makings of a top ten public university. His vision is simply wonderful and seeks to fix the gap between athletics and academics. My four years at the University of Oregon left me ready for the future. The Journalism school is simply incredible.
The U of O has a really awesome campus with those pretty bricks. The one thing I don't like about the campus is that the buildings are not in any real order, they're a bit all over the place. The math building is going way on the other side of the science buildings for example. Of course, all of their sports teams are awesome and the ducks are known everywhere in eugene (and probably in Oregon).
found that many of the college "professors" are very strange people... like a man named david folwer.. seems to be teaching racism is at every turn..... i would watch what any child takes away from people like him... really good sports - loved the lay out ---- if you have a second pick.... pick that
This University can be recommended to those who liek schools with larger undergraduate head counts, larger classes and a great school vibe and sports intensity.
A University that puts its athletic programs ahead of its academic ones. Hundreds of millions of dollars go to their sports programs while the academic side is more or less an afterthought. Passing out degrees to lug heads only taints the fabric of society. Could I get more Investment Bankers with chronic traumatic encephalopathy please?
