  • A friendly neighborhood brewery. Not a lot of food choices. However there is a food truck next door that is very good.
  • Got the Ride Your Bike Double Red Ale and the Overcast Espresso Stout. Hubby and I shared them both they were so fantastic. I haven't tasted better in Eugene yet, and this is our fourth trip up to sta...  more »

  • It was kinda cold, but otherwise loved it! I'm not a beer drinker normally, but I really enjoyed the smooth and chocolatey taste of the "Heart-shaped Box". They also serve cider in a can from 2 Towns, which was enough to get me in the door. They had a pizza food truck outside when we went, I think it was "Oregon Wood Fired Pizza". Pretty good, $13 for about a 9" diameter pizza I'd say. Maybe bigger, but could be devoured by a grown man; I was able to eat half, myself. Will definitely return!
  • Fantastic staff. Great beers. Many very unique single batch beers to sample and enjoy.
  • Live on the Oregon coast, a transplant from the midwest. I spent three years in Germany and loved one of the dark beers I found there. It was served in a large pilsner style glass with a slice of lemon . . . killer . . . and I believe it was a fair bit higher in alcohol than 5%, which tended to limit consumption : ) I have lamented for years not being able to find something similar in the U.S. but Oakshire Brewing's Espresso Stout is a dead ringer. You have a customer for life. Next trip to Eugene, I definitely will be visiting the pub.
  • Has a great local vibe and at least 12 beers on tap at any given time. Live music on the weekends and promotions for local-area charities on Wednesdays makes this a fun place any time of the week.
  • Oakshire is a cool place to hang out and catch up with those you haven't seen in a while. The other breweries in the area just don't have that cool, relaxed vibe to them. And the beer is always good. Every time I go, I usually end up getting the taster tray, just because I like the taste of all the staple beers they have. The guest taps are for real beer enthusiasts. Lots of interesting guest brews.
