  • Went to the park to walk the dog. It's an amazing place with off leash areas for the dogs, disk golf, running trails, walking along the river, a solar system display, a Nobel prize winners display are...  more »
  • Great place to walk, take pictures and enjoy a day with family and friends. People can spend a great time cycling or just enjoy the view that is simply beautiful. If you like bird watching, this is a good place. Pets can have a good time as there plenty of room to run. You can go all day, one of the sports that you can practice is the frisbee.

  • I primarily go because it has a great dog park there are two sides but no it doesn't have big dog little dog that's just kind of split haphazardly. The community kind of does a bag station and we help each other with bags generally it's very well maintained and there is fresh potable water available for dogs I'm not sure I would drink it though. There's a lot more to Alton Baker park there is a Amphitheater there and a duck pond as well. So lots of things to do in lots of sites to see.
  • Expansive park with river access, ample parking, boardwalk islands in ponds filled with geese and different varieties of ducks. The river runs through the park with a nice banking lawn with picknick tables nearby. One the bigger community gardens I've ever seen (fenced w/ gate, didn't check if it's open access). There's disc golf baskets, people walking with dogs, & a foot-traffic bridge running alongside the bridge people drive over to cross the river separating Eugene. Yesterday a local news producer asked us about the weather when looking at the ducks. They cut out the segment just hours after it's premiere
  • A wonderful city park. Rent a canoe or bring your own to float the canoe canal. I've seen geese ducks, herons, turtles, red fox, beaver, nutria, etc. Fish for trout. Play Frisbee golf on a great course. Enjoy excellent running trails, walking and bike trails along the Willamette river and a large dog park among many other available activities this park is gateway to. If you feed the ducks and pigeons at the sick pond PLEASE do not feed bread or popcorn. It is detrimental to their health. Instead purchase a quality waterfowl feed from a local feed store or just enjoy watching them eating naturally.
  • A beauty place to watch the fireplace. I enjoy the beauty of the park. The bathrooms on the other hand are horrible. There are no doors to the stalls, so basically no privacy. The stall I used had no toilet paper. No soap or towels to dry your hand. They could at least install hand dryer. The bathrooms need a lot a maintenance.
  • Great place to go for a walk or run try the Pre's trail even lit at night though not recommended. Beautiful park lots to see and enjoy. FREE! Lots of walking pads water features there's a science center there free parking public bathrooms great time to walk along the river check it out
