  • Large park. Lot's going on. Many fishing tournaments have their weigh-in here so if you are in the area drop by to see what's happening
  • The rates were reasonable and the staff was friendly. The engine on the bass boat was not running right, the staff said it sounded ok to them. A 40 hp should plane a 20ft alum boat is all I am saying....  more »
  • Since my initial review in 2013, the state has closed the golf course. For those of you who are expecting to play, I didn't want you to be caught by surprise. The good news is there is a course in Euf...  more »

  • We visited the park to check out the campground to decide if this is somewhere we would like to bring our camper. It is a beautiful park with excellent facilities. We will definitely be planning a future visit. We also had the opportunity to walk some of the trails and had a great time.
  • My family and I stayed the night here for a family reunion. Being from California and used to the Pacific Ocean this was a new adventure for us. Especially visiting Alabama. The resort is nice and well maintained, we showed up during the heat of summer and my god was it unbearably hot. The resort hotel rooms are deceptively spacious and big. Almost like a small three bedroom apartment. Close to the lake with a good size play ground for the kids and a very nice swimming pool. I would recommend this place.
  • The location was very peaceful and scenic. The rooms were very spacious and recently renovated - nice! The service was good as well. 5 stars.
  • We have our family reunion here every year and it's always quiet and accepting. The restrooms are a good place to stop when you're traveling to and from the beach. The large parking lot accommodates long campers and boats.
  • It is beautiful and peaceful. Unfortunately it seemed like the hottest days of the year but the Resort was very cool so we stayed indoors a lot of the time. The beds were nice although I will bring my own pillow next time as they had hard foam pillows that I couldn't get comfortable on. We are going to try out the cottages next time as they were not much more than the room rates, which were very reasonable even before the military discount. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the dining area served very good food and was open almost all the time. Overall I would highly recommend staying here.
