  • My husband and I were here in March and had Kent as our guide. We had such a memorable experience we came back with our son this trip and it was just as awesome. Thank you so much for the memories.
  • Great job. Very well stocked. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Would recommend them if you need anything fly fishing oriented or outdoor oriented when you're in the Estes Park area.
  • Went to Kirks for our 1st time fly fishing experience. Were greeted by a very friendly staff and after a few minutes of paperwork and buying our fishing permit we were off. Guide took us to the river and all equipment was provided. After a few trys and guidance from Kirk, he was our guide we were catching fish! after the end the results were 6 for my wife and 5 for me! It was great because it was her birthday and has never fished period. Thank you Kirk for giving us such a fun day. Keep up the great job on your shop and taking care of the customers.
  • Paid for four poles, two guides. Spent $640 + $90 extra to fish private places (also owned by Kirks). Don't fish the pre-stocked beaver ponds if you want a true stream fishing experience. We did that, it was stupid fishing in the back of a sub-division. Go fish the Fall or big Thompson on your own, you'll have a better experience. Came highly recommended, fell short of expectations by a long shot. Love the area.
  • Our guide Duane was professional and very nice. While I am not a super experienced fisherman I have been fishing with guides for 20 years and I wish they would give you a realistic sense of fish counts and size prior to booking. The fish in the park were tiny. The staff at the fly shop was great and they have a nice selection of gear for sale and for rent.
