  • This is not one of those state-of-the-art, high falutin' type of Children's museum. It is fairly small but it most definitely captures a spirit of play that all children enjoy. There are several fun a...  more »

  • Little Escondido Jewel! Love taking my 4 and 2 year old granddaughters here! Lots of interesting stations inside, including a different craft to do in the craft room each time. Designated area for 2 year olds and under to play. Nice clean child-friendly bathrooms. Outdoor area is great - bubble station with big bubble wands is a fave, Lego "stream", finding dinosaur bones in the sandbox, building with big foam blocks. The last time we were there the girls got to pet a chicken! So nice to have such a great local place for little ones with easy parking - right across the street from a park with great play equipment, too! Only complaint is occasionally (school holidays?) children who are a bit too old for the museum can be a bit overwhelming for the little ones.
  • Great staff. Kids can’t really leave on their own so it was nice to relax with my two toddlers. Not really meant for a child over about 7 but my eldest had fun playing with all the kids. Parking is tight. Be careful crossing from Grape Park across the street.
  • PARENTS: FREE COFFEE/TEA with admission! Wonderful place for littles - age 4 & under. Small, but engaging. Bathrooms great for the littles too, extra space in every stall for more than one person. Place is very clean, has a dedicated area for birthdays so as not to intrude on the other guests, has a very cute garden area with activities for children, a bubble table, reading room, pirate ship play area and a designated area for eating.
  • This is a fantastic place to take young preschool-age children to explore all the learning exhibits available. It is just such a fun, educational, and stimulating place to visit. As a grandparent, I enjoy seeing my grandkids experience learning exhibits created just for them. The staff are friendly, helpful, and maintain the facilities always clean and sanitary. This is the type of recreational learning venue for young children to enjoy that is safe, is within every parent's budget, and I whole-heartedly recommend.
  • A mini version of the one in San Diego. They are always changing things up and moving things around, so it has a fresh feel every time we visit. Both of my kids love it, and so must many others because parking can be a challenge. Not to worry, just park at Grape Day Park across the street. We have had an annual membership for several years, and appreciate the military discount too.
