  • This is a great little zoo that is large enough to keep the kids entertained, but not so large that their little legs give out and end up making it a bad experience. Quite a few animals at the zoo to ...  more »
  • Lots of fun things to explore and animals to see. We love the train ride especially. Would love to see some Elephants and another giraffe.
  • What a nice experience for young children. They get to see all the animals and exhibits before the zoo closes in the winter. Perfect amount of treat stops and the staff dressed up in costumes is reall...  more »

  • Clean learning environment. Staff are always pleasant! Train ride is fun for my 2yr old. I would just like to see the zoo have elephants and bears again!
  • It was cheap of admission, found out why when we walked around. Some of the animals were in way too small enclosures, some didn't look to be in good health, some had notes hanging up, noticed the one donkey had a split huff and the keeper didn't seem to care, I've never Owen a donkey but I have had horses, very similar. The otter exhibit was leaking water from around the glass, the wooden walkways were in need of repairs in spots. They either need more trained staff or more funding that's for sure
  • A great zoo for the family. Not too large, but big enough. It has an old fashioned feel that I love. It's worth taking the train to see an area you otherwise can't get to. A new lion exhibit is scheduled to begin construction soon.
  • For the first time ever we went on a free Sunday. Also the first time I'd been to the zoo since I was 7ish, 36 now. So disappointed! These animals are so out of place and sad. I should also say that free day is so packed its a bit scary! Definitely not our best local attraction.
  • Small zoo. Not expensive. Takes about 3 hours if you go slow. Some exhibits are definitely nicer than others. Some animals are a little sad but most seem well cared for. Overall good time
