  • We will be back; very nice trails. Walked up to the top of the tower. Long line but it went very quickly; worth the climb. Several trails. We will be back.  more »
  • You have to pay to get in and the trail system is not much fun. We saw nothing and drove from one end to the other. Not worth the time unless you have a bike.  more »
  • Bird sanctuary area and a beautiful nature walk with dense unusual trees and easy flat paths. Alligators in a different section. Great place.  more »

  • My wife and I had our wedding there, it was so beautiful. The tours are informative and entertaining. Also the hiking trails are so much fun with lots of Florida wildlife to see including deer and gators!
  • Go horseback riding here. It's the absolute best way to take in the stunning sights and sounds of nature in southwest Florida.
  • Hiking, biking, horseback riding and camping is what you'll find at Myakka State Forest. Often confused with Myakka State Park. Camping will begin again in the fall of 2016 with 20 campsites with electrical hookups.
  • It cost two dollars per person and the trails I took are not shaded and have huge mud puddles in the middle of them.
  • Camped here for a few days and loved it! Lots of armadillos, saw some boars. Not many others were here which made it quite peaceful, but still a fairly easy drive to the Venice beach area.
