  • First let me say, my home is across the street from Lemon Bay Park, so I REALLY like the Park. It is a very well-maintained Park with great walking trails. And as of January 2017, dogs are welcome as ...  more »

  • Love this place, always have since the day it opened. Very peaceful place with beautiful scenery. Just have to go at the right time or you may just see a cross dresser and some bums with addictions. Other than that it is a beautiful place.
  • Take a stroll on the wild side! Small Park but lots, of gopher tortoises and bob cats walk quietly and look closely. Put your Kayak in and paddle up to Stump Pass beach.
  • Nice paths near the water. Clean bathrooms and nice picnic areas.
  • Great nature trails. Good birding. Eagle nests. Park located on Lemon Bay. Too bad dogs are allowed making seeing wildlife less likely
  • Nice hiking trails and restroom facilities great views of the ICW (Intracoastal Waterway) especially in the morning and early afternoon. Boardwalk trails through the mangrove trees offer a great view overlooking the estuary. Be sure to see if you can spot the bald eagle nest hidden in the slash pine trees. There is a canoe/kayak launch by the park headquarters, although it is a little inconvenient to get to. There have nice facilities for a sheltered picnic or an outdoor party available also.
