  • Famous reef, great waves and wonderful walking beach. Take a walk down the steps and walk south to the state park and San Elijio Lagoon. You can then go back up onto the 101 and walk back to Swami Bea...  more »
  • this is a great beachside place that is fun to see and be on top checking out the surf below people there are always nice
  • Visit one time just for surf and it was a very good day. Plenty waves and water not so cold. Really beautiful beach by the way.

  • Surf: One of the best breaks in San Diego. Plenty of rights even with a crowd. Even a few lefts. What to expect: Parking lot is tiny but there is a plethora of street parking. Public bathrooms in the parking lot. Shower down on the beach. There is a staircase with over a hundred steps to the beach. Conclusions: Don't miss this surf break on your travels
  • Sundays are Fun Days! Definitely a must go to place for good people, good music and good vibes. There's a very nice rest room as well as stairways that go down to the beach. A beautiful place to bring family, be alone.. and watch the sunset.
  • As a Life Coach I take many people here! Its a great place to reflect on where you are and set goals while looking out to vast possibility. The Meditation Gardens behind it are a great place to sit quietly and another slice of heaven:) "I'm picking up good vibrations" -Beach Boys
  • Sunday afternoon is Hippy Time in the park! Lots of music, slack lines, acro yoga, yoga, games, potlucks, people in cuddle puddles,...
  • Laid back vibe. A healthy mix of surfers, tourists and locals. You will see people with a range of skills, and some local surf lessons as well. I tried boogie boarding for the first time here!
