  • A very interesting place to visit. Look up or call for hours for a guided tour. I went when there was nobody working and we just walked around and peeked into the windows, that was worth my time, you can possibly learn a lot from here about history and how things used to work. If you want to know how this town came to be, come here.
  • The grand encampment Museum very knowledgeableof and about encampment believe it or not encampment was actually going to be the capital instead of Cheyenne
  • The Grand Encampment museum is a nice place to visit, but it could use some rock specimens and more information on the mines in the area. There is a paucity of rock and mineral samples.
  • A must see!
