  • Lovely grounds. Didn't enter the basilica but enjoyed the mortuary chapel very much.
  • I love the tour guide there, his name is Andrew. I like his creative story telling and joke integration into the tour he gave my group as well. If you ever go there, make sure to ask for Andrew personally.
  • It's very peaceful, there is a lot of history here for both the faithful and the historian. You get a look into how she her children and founding Sisters survived and some didn't including Elizabeth's own children. Amazing a wife, mother, nun, Saint, the Shrine is beautiful inside as well as the grounds a mere 15 minutes away from Gettysburg PA take an hour out of your day and relax and pray.
