  • What a special place! This pier IS the jewel of the crystal coast. Great spot. Great people. The Stanley family has done a great job keeping a legacy alive for generations to enjoy. Thanks for being my home away from home!
  • If you like to fish, this is the place. People are friendly and helpful. It is closed now for remodeling until spring of 2017.
  • A great place to hang out at night and meet some of the local people of Emerald Isle. There is always excitement with the fishing, and sometimes they might even catch a shark! Awesome for the whole family.
  • This is a great pier. I really go there almost exclusively at night - I love the lights under the pier and how they cast light/cast shadows on the water and sand. The most recent time I went, there was lightning in the distance and some awesome clouds. It's a popular place, but hasn't ever seemed overcrowded. I've really enjoyed it every time.
  • I love fishing, and this was a place I wish I had gone to on my first trip instead of second. Gets a little bit annoying with all the people trying to watch the sharks around 6 to sunset, but the pier stays open very late to get that night catch. Great to see the kingfishermen at the end of the dock as well. Catch was good, as long as the sharks don't get to it before you get it out.
