  • This is a great pier. I really go there almost exclusively at night - I love the lights under the pier and how they cast light/cast shadows on the water and sand. The most recent time I went, there was lightning in the distance and some awesome clouds. It's a popular place, but hasn't ever seemed overcrowded. I've really enjoyed it every time.
  • I love fishing, and this was a place I wish I had gone to on my first trip instead of second. Gets a little bit annoying with all the people trying to watch the sharks around 6 to sunset, but the pier stays open very late to get that night catch. Great to see the kingfishermen at the end of the dock as well. Catch was good, as long as the sharks don't get to it before you get it out.
  • We hiked all the from the point to this pier about 8 miles round trip. The pier had cool beverages for sale which was refreshing. Lots of people fishing and the pier store had all the supplies you need to fish and relax
  • These are the rudest people i have ever come across in my life. Oh my god. Patty is the rudest person. She told my kids if they could not afford to fish there they could leave. Haha My son probably makes more money than she does and he just graduated high school. The owner Mike Stanley he doesnt care either. He does not care how his employees treat you. Wow! Never ever again
  • Everyone is so friendly. Everyone willing to help. Nice fish cleaning station. Staff is great!
