Knoebels Amusement Resort has been family-owned and operated by the Knoebels family since 1926. The park is located in a wooded valley, which also encompasses a picnic grove and campground, and features over 60 roller coasters and an antique carousal from 1913. It has received a number of honors, including multiple Amusement Today Golden Ticket awards for best amusement park food. While the park is well known for its wooden roller coasters, it is perhaps most famous for its haunted house ride, Haunted Mansion, which was featured on Discovery Channel. It is free admission. There is lots of shade. I have been here a few times for work sponsored picnics - they offer a meal with chicken, burger, hot dog. It is not all you can eat, but its always good ... more »

Been going here since I was a kid and it gets better every year. The food is great and good prices. Park free and enter free. You can spend the day just walking around and site seeing but the rides are awesome. If you want to ride just a couple things just buy a couple tickets. Hand stamps for the rides are a great deal. In over 45 years I've never been disappointed with a visit to this park. It truly is a special place.
Awesome amusement park back in the Pennsylvania hinterlands. I've been coming here since I was a very little kid, and for good reason. Great rides, superb food, and above all, incredible value. Whereas most parks in the United States try to squeeze you dry for every miserable penny, Knoebels actually seems to prefer the reverse approach. By providing great entertainment for comparatively almost no expense, Knoebels has cemented its position as one of the best parks in the country. Parking and admission are both completely FREE, unheard of at most locations. You pay for your rides as you go, and nothing costs more than about 4 bucks per ride, and that's at the most expensive. Most rides you can do for about a buck and some change. Food prices are very low for an amusement park as well. The prices compare well with food in any small Pennsylvania town. Because of its insane value, Knoebels always draws a huge crowd, so it's usually pretty packed, but such is life. Most things worth visiting tend to be crowded, as people take notice of them. Long live Knoebels!
Great place for the young and old. Lots of shade trees. Free parking and Pavilions. If you want a Pavilion you have to book it in advance, but there's no cost. The only cost are the tickets for the rides and for any food from the many vendors located throughout the park. There are many live shows put on at different times throughout the day which are pretty cool. The kids that do the shows are very talented. Lots of fun rides. You won't be disappointed that's for sure.
Absolutely amazing amusement park! The campground is very nice and well kept. The bathrooms have showers and a coin operated washer and dryer. The park has a great assortment of rides and uses the ticket system so that those who are not riding don't have to waste their money. There are a lot of different foods to choose from. The hand-dipped ice cream and pizza are both great. There's something for everyone. We stay for four days every June and have a great time. Even the little campground store is fun to look around in.
Great park with good rides for kids. Good thing is parking and admission is free and you only pay for rides you like or you can get day pass. Area is very scenic. Chair lift rides look scary in beginning. Sky wheel is good.Would like to go there again.
