  • All of the staff were so friendly and informative. Even the security guard was approachable and helpful. I had no idea what lapidary was until reading about the museum in one of the tour guide magazines in the hotel. I'm soooo glad we popped in. I am shocked that for $5 we were able to see such an extensive collection. There brochure was easy to understand for a novice like me. The museum is well laid out and meticulously clean. I would definitely go back.
  • Elegant and exquisite place to visit. Very unusual, visually stimulating elements of all shapes, sizes, colors, and textures. Like exploring a new fun to visit, could've stayed for hours and hours.
  • One of my first true friends was the daughter of the founder. I moved from Minnesota to Illinois and was newly married. We loved the museum and the growth and community participation it provided as our children grew. From this grew an inspiration to also build an Art Museum. That too is now a an integral part of Elmhurst. I recommend both places to anyone of any age.
  • The experience I had was phenomenal the art ,rocks, minerals and gems were wonderful for a person who likes geology.I would recommend going .😊
  • Going with a group to the Lizzadro Museum of Lapidary Art., 220 S Cottage Hill Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126 is always a great time. Their collection is phenomenal and can't be topped in Chicagoland.
