  • We didn't know what to expect. The plan, actually, was to go only for lunch. Because out table wasn't ready, we checked out the shop, the forge, and textiles building. Lunch was great, especially our ...  more »
  • We visited Homestead Hertiage on our trip to Waco and it was the most enjoyed stop of the trip. We spent four to five hours exploring and eating. Taking time to visit all of the buildings and talk to ...  more »
  • This is an attraction not to be missed. The attention to detail here is amazing. Some highlights: the carpentry shop, the handicraft store, and the grist mill. The grounds are beautiful, well-kept and...  more »
  • I was so impressed with this place. The grounds are well done with beautiful restored barns. The craftmanship is top notch and I enjoyed viewing their works of art ranging from furniture, pottery, to ornate quilts. The people are super friendly. Modern society has a lot to learn from this group. Truly sustainable living. Appreciation for art and beauty. Working one with nature. Strong sense of community.
  • Such an amazing place as soon as you enter you get a sense of calmness just walking around and enjoying the views. The cafe hits you in the face as soon as you walk in with such amazing flavor smells . Looking at everyone eating the amazing food there sorry I didn't not take photos of the food but trust you have to try it. I will be going back they have an event coming labor day took a pic of the flyer.
  • Homemade/homegrown EVERYTHING (almost every ingredient used in any of the products they serve has been homemade or homegrown... down to the Oreo-cookies they use in the cookies-and-cream ice cream). Because a lot of their other products are handmade (baskets, quilts, etc), the prices are pretty steep... but this place is beautiful and worth the trip out! You can watch the artisans work on their various projects while you tour around, it's fun!
  • Quiet place People are kind. We took food from the coffee in the village. The food was very tasty. The room is very cozy and equipped with everything you need. מקום קסום בחיק הטבע, אנשים מקסימים. החדר מאובזר ומאוד נוח.
  • Wonderful food. Great service everyone was friendly and helpful. Little expensive but everything is homemade.
