  • My husband and I visited this place in late May 2016 and were not disappointed. It was very interesting to see all the items made from scratch and see the history behind the place. The restaurant was ...  more »
  • We so enjoyed this place; had lunch first, then visited each building - weaving, basketry, gristmill, woodworking, pottery, blacksmith - I"m sure I'm forgetting one or two. You can sign up to take cla...  more »

  • Makes you wonder why we willingly live in a dog eat dog world. This place is calming, fantastic and gives you a glimpse of what a healthy lifestyle is like.
  • The Homestead Heritage Crafting Community is full of polite, happy people who enjoy their craft. It's a great spot for a sit-down meal or to take a class on homesteading style crafts like woodworking, pottery, blacksmithing, and a host of others. They have classes on how to start a homestead, too. Check out their website. I've not seen quality like their woodworking school anywhere else in the United States.
  • Fantasic fresh food, good service and just a great way to spend the day exploring.
  • The grounds themselves were beautiful and well kept, but the rude staring and looks I got from two different women because I'm covered in tattoos was enough for us to leave. I totally get some people don't agree with them but to stare at people who would have been paying customers is all out rude! I respect your religion and way of life but your judgemental heart won't get you into heaven! God loves you and he loves me to!
  • Wonderful place in Waco and fun for a family! The food is fantastic!
