  • Loved our tour of ciders. The server had a great knowledge of and passion for the product. It is an enjoyable experience. After your visit to taste and pick up some cider, be sure to stop at the Kick ...  more »
  • Island Orchard makes cider using the Normandy France method so it is dry and crisp not heavy and syrupy sweet. I tried seven varieties and each one was excellent and nicely priced.  more »
  • We are not ones to drink cider but we enjoyed having the chance to taste their high quality product. Nice tasting room and interesting flavors. We left with a bottle of their pear cider....nice.  more »

  • Best cider I've had for some time and it's local! I am not the greatest at telling there story but they have cider that is aged in White oak barrels that were bourbon barrels. Overall I love the flavor and the bottles they use. It's the old fashioned bottles that have a cap attached to the bottle. I'll be reusing those for Apple pie drinks! Anyways, they offer a tasting of their ciders and have a small but good selection of cider. I will be buying more next time I go, I'm hoping our local trig's has some in the mean time. Overall I recommend that you visit this place while you are in the area and like hard cider.
  • Delicious and refreshing cider! Before visiting the actual place in Door County, I bought Island Orchard cider for many years. Getting to go to the place where it's made was indeed a treat! The employees are very friendly and will let you sample anything you want! It's also in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend one of their dry ciders.
  • I normally don't drink cider, but I was on vacation with people who do. I went along and did the tasting. I was really surprised by the lavender cider. It was so good I bought 6 to take back.
  • We stopped here because my son and husband love apple cider. This is nothing like the cider you are used to! We walked in and it kind of looked like a winery. The staff behind the counter asked if we wanted samples, so of course we said yes. The first taste was just like a dry wine! This is not a place for kids, all the ciders had alcohol content left in them. The staff were great and answered all of our questions. It is a small, rustic, fruit distillery that we will definitely add to our places to stop at in Door County.
  • The free tasting was fun and it was neat to learn about how they make all of their delicious ciders. I bought a seasonal cider that they had it was Apple and ginger. Everyone who worked their was friendly and made you feel welcomed.
