  • This is a must when in Ellijay. Lots of fresh apples and they let you fill a bag with different varieties. Also has a bakery with great fried apple pie. Try the apple slushing, they are delicious!!
  • Anything your heart desires, fresh apples,Baked breads, jellies, sauces, pies, candies etc. This outlet is a must see for the traveling sweet tooth! Only 7 miles away from downtown. This'll put a smile o...  more »
  • Great selection of apples and apple products, as well as great produce, desserts, and they serve sandwiches which all looked really good! Love the squash pickles, fried pies and cider slushes!

  • Had a very pleasant experience at the R&A orchard's market. The produce is high quality and well priced as compared to nearby orchards and markets. I walked away with 3 1/2 pecks of apples ($6 each, cheaper than many of the nearby orchards that sell 1/2 pecks for $7) and some very tasty onions. I will definitely stop here again next season!
  • Lots of things to do. Enjoyed picking our own apples and riding on the wagon behind the tractor. Even had a great lunch inside.
  • The female who answered the phone at R & A SEEMED to know that she worked at an apple house.........She was about as informative as a grade school kid who had never been there. As I shop at R & A several times each year, I EXPECTED more caring and knowledgeable information when I asked about apples.
  • We love this place. They have the best fried pies and they are only $2.50. Their produce is the best too.
  • I disagree with Ms Kly's review. This person sounds like a competitor or someone's "ex". I drove over 2 hours to get to R & A Orchards today, and have gone in previous years. The employees were very friendly and knowledgeable about their early Spring peaches. The dining room was fixed up rustic-cute with different antique thermometers and Coca Cola memorabilia. There is a menu which includes wonderful chicken salad, etc. There is quite a variety of fried pies that melt in your mouth. (And no, there were no dead or alive flies in the cases, Ms Kly.) I will return in a few months for summer peaches. Nothing tastier or sweeter than fresh Georgia peaches🙂
