  • We came during December so the orchards were not open, I'm sure we would of had a different kind of visit if we had come during that time. There really wasn't much to see so we ended up just getting a...  more »
  • Out of the many orchards and road-side stands in the area, I always come back to this one. Good apples, peaches, ciders, and slushies, but some of the best fried pies and homemade peach ice cream in a...  more »
  • Great stop in Ellijay! Love the shop with wonderful local goodies in addition to apples- jams, jellies, honey, fried pies and MORE!  more »
  • Had a very pleasant experience at the R&A orchard's market. The produce is high quality and well priced as compared to nearby orchards and markets. I walked away with 3 1/2 pecks of apples ($6 each, cheaper than many of the nearby orchards that sell 1/2 pecks for $7) and some very tasty onions. I will definitely stop here again next season!
  • Lots of things to do. Enjoyed picking our own apples and riding on the wagon behind the tractor. Even had a great lunch inside.
  • The female who answered the phone at R & A SEEMED to know that she worked at an apple house.........She was about as informative as a grade school kid who had never been there. As I shop at R & A several times each year, I EXPECTED more caring and knowledgeable information when I asked about apples.
  • We love this place. They have the best fried pies and they are only $2.50. Their produce is the best too.
  • I disagree with Ms Kly's review. This person sounds like a competitor or someone's "ex". I drove over 2 hours to get to R & A Orchards today, and have gone in previous years. The employees were very friendly and knowledgeable about their early Spring peaches. The dining room was fixed up rustic-cute with different antique thermometers and Coca Cola memorabilia. There is a menu which includes wonderful chicken salad, etc. There is quite a variety of fried pies that melt in your mouth. (And no, there were no dead or alive flies in the cases, Ms Kly.) I will return in a few months for summer peaches. Nothing tastier or sweeter than fresh Georgia peaches🙂
