We went to get running shoes for our son, and were insulted and harassed by both sets of sales people. The Carnival Cruise Lady jumped out in front of my wife and blocked her path as she was shoving a... read more »
This a typical "Premium Outlet" location when it comes to the selection of stores. Everything from the Gap and Nike, to Waterford and DNYK...I'm sure the place has been here a long time, but they need... read more »
This is kind of a 1990s style "outlet" store. The layout is like one giant octopus, you have to go back and forth down each leg to get to the shop you are looking for. I find it annoying and time consuming and usually just give up. Maybe if you like strolling around in the Florida humidity for no good reason, it's for you. For myself, when I shop, I want to get it, get what I came for and get out.
The layout always gets me. I get lost and don't know which aisle I have been down. It is not conducive to the zig zag method to hit all stores. Well kept and nice selection. Good parking and a food court.
The Ellenton Premium Outlets is a great place to shop if your in South Tampa. The selection of stores is outstanding, and they do honestly have outlet store pricing, unlike some of the "outlet malls" I have been to in the area. There is plenty of free parking, although it is not the most convenient layout. Due to the size of the mall, by the time you park your car, and wander the HUGE outdoor mall, you will spend a lot of time walking back to your car, often times with a considerable amount of packages to carry with you. The best store in the mall is the VF Factory Outlet. If you like Levi's and Wrangler products, you will not find better prices ANYWHERE. The pants and shorts I love at Kohls are roughly double the price they are here. I wear a very popular size, so sometimes it can be hard to find my size, but I always walk out of this store with a lot of new clothes. Other notable stores include Yankee Candle, Under Armour, Bath and Body Works, Crocs, Nike, Ralph Lauren, and so many more. There is a great selection of both mens and women stores. There are also great stores to stock the kids up for Back to School clothes. The food court leaves a LOT to be desired, so I would skip the food court, and eat at Hungry Howies Pizza Buffet across the street. Do NOT miss the Hershey's Ice Cream store which also serves fresh baked David's Cookies. This is usually the highlight of our trip to the mall.
The parking is pretty good on an average day. There are tons of designer outlets and more! There is a food court with a few different kiosks to get food. It is like a mall with cheaper prices at some stores. Also pet friendly in the outdoor walkways.
Lots of shops, good prices. Not handicapped friendly tho there are parking areas. If you don't know area, the map will quickly show you the great distance this shopping area covers but I liked it better than malls.
