  • Perfect place to go snowboarding or skiing. Plenty of runs and lifts. Easy and hard paths with a terrain park.  more »
  • This is a great resort for those of us who are limited to Midwestern skiing for a normal weekend getaway. The trails and lifts are well maintained, the runs are not too busy, and all staff members I have dealt with are very friendly. The downstairs cafe has great food and extremely reasonable prices for people who are looking for something to tide them over during the grooming shutdown in the evenings. I highly recommend this ski school for anyone looking to learn. Instructors are friendly and attentive. I cannot comment on the lodging or rental service as I have not used either, but for those looking purely for a place to ski this is a fantastic option.
  • We spent the day skiing at Alpine Valley. We purchased a learn to ski package that offered a two hour lesson, equipment rental, and all day lift tickets. It was a great deal. The instructor was great, easy to understand, gave good feedback, and very nice. The lesson was not too long, he used his time well to ensure we were safe and comfortable skiing and on the lifts. We had lunch at the bar upstairs. Alpine Valley's staff could use some education on food allergies, they did not seem to take my questions seriously about ingredients. The server offered to ask the kitchen, but either never did or never reported back to us. I suspect our server was having an off day, but another server checked in on us and got us on our way.
  • This was my first time going to Alpine Valley and I liked it a lot! Better than Wilmot IMO. It's not as big as the other resorts further up North in WI, but their trails are nice. Only complaint is how long the lift lines are...didn't think I went on a particularly busy day either
  • Neat little ski hill/resort. Lines aren't bad and ticket prices are fair for what they have to offer. Definitely would recommend checking it out at least once.
  • Nice location and well maintained. The place and staff are family friendly. Most of the dining is cash only with at least one ATM on the premises. Food is decently priced compared to other resorts.
