Probably wont return! Security just rude! Been there long ago and was fun but now pretty bad. Guess its just hanging on from what I have heard. more »

I have seen a lot of shows at Alpine, and each time has been excellent. I've had good experiences in both the lawn seats or down in the seats. The tailgating in the lot before the show is a must! I on... more »

For over twenty years, we have made our yearly trek out to Alpine Valley for the Jimmy Buffett concert. We always tailgate with family and friends and have a good time. They have enough staff to make ... more »

This is an amazing place to see a concert. Easily in my top two places to see a concert in the U.S. It's an awesome experience to hear 40,000 people singing your favorite bands song, while your favorite band is playing. Just outside of Milwaukee this is well worth the trip.

First visit to Alpine was July 9, 2016 to see Dead and Company - amazing show and the venue lived up to it's legend. I had horror stories about parking and leaving but found both to be fine. I wouldn't say either was easy, but both were normal for a show of this size, and probably better handled with staff and security than many I've been too. It was a very hot day for the festivities in the parking lot, but the staff were friendly and great about offering water. The amphitheater itself was beautiful and well laid out - restrooms were clean. Had a great time and will come back someday I'm sure

this is by far my favorite music venue.it's a huge, almost vertical hill. the dave matthews band calls it "the IMAX of venues" because from their point of view it's just a huge wall of people. this venue is not for the faint of heart. the hill is steep and the only way out is UP! i struggle every year with those hills! and if it rains... get ready for a mudslide!

I have traveled the country, attending over 60 venues, and this amphitheater is in my top 2. It provides some of the best views and best atmosphere I've ever experienced. The acoustics are second to none and there isn't a bad seat in the whole place. The wood roofs to the amphitheater provide the best sound and are high enough to not block views. The set up of concessions, bathrooms, and merch tents is very convenient. And while the hill can be tiring, it is what makes this place the best. My sole complaint would be the traffic flow leaving the venue, as it gets very congested after a show, however, there are 60,000 people and it would be congested anywhere. Also, take this advice, bring sandwiches and refreshments for post concert hang out until the traffic clears! Overall, if you like concerts you have to visit alpine valley, it's one of a kind.

I love this place! Such an awesome sight seeing 40,000 other people dancing on a hill with you and your favorite band.
