  • These are very nice falls with an easy walk and short detour off of 19E. Worth the little effort it takes to get here.  more »

  • It was an amazing hike. I came with the in laws and we all had fun. The water was quite cold, but there was plenty of open area for swimming. There were a few snakes to watch out for, but nothing too serious. I will definitely go back again!
  • Awesome experience. Easy hike, relatively short distance. Great sitting and relaxing area around the falls where the lagoon is. In addition, the road leading to the small parking area has a nice feel to it as you pass by the homesteads tucked away. Well worth the trip.
  • I've gone here since I was a child. My family is from Elk Park. It's still very beautiful, but it's very disappointing to see all the trash and broken glass. There are no trash cans or picnic tables, just a bunch of new signs warning about the dangers of the falls. I plan on getting married by Elk River next summer, and it appears we will have to go do some clean up ourselves. It looks as if no one is keeping up the maintenance. That saddens me.
  • Not far from home and makes me want to move back. A family member was paralyzed after jumping here... Feast your eyes and enjoy but I would not recommend jumping.
  • Beautiful. Don't letthe drive out discourage you, and the hike down to the falls isn't too bad. A nice place to relax. Looks like they are working on improvements to the area. Be careful people have been hurt and died. There was a memorial on site less than 2 months old despite the signs everywhere people still seem to get hurt or die. Not as trashy as some have said, still no trash cans.
