  • Very friendly & informative lady to help you navigate thru the many rooms with a treasure trove of antique gems. Rooms are well designed to capture the old era. I loved the very unique & rare toys!  more »
  • reconstruction of a town of 200 years ago, well maintained with many vintage tools and venues like the Barbary horse stables, bakery with the carriages etc.

  • Fun recreated old western town and multiple museum s. Everyone we encountered was so friendly, informative and helpful. Loved the soda shop ladies!
  • Stopped by on my way through Oklahoma. Really excellent museum about the history of route 66 and Elk City. Very extensive, took about 2 hours to enjoy everything, but was worth it. All the employees were super friendly. Definitely recommend!
  • Great place where i spent 2 hours just for the museum part. The rebuild village is awsome, realist and can you easly imagine how it was in the beginning of the 20century.
  • For just a few bucks a person, this kitschy, kitchen-sink local museum might just have something interesting for everyone in the car. It claims to be the Route 66 Museum, but once you get past the first couple buildings (dedicated to the "good ol' days" to an eye-rolling degree for a millennial like me) you're looking at local history exhibits. An interesting glimpse at small-town Americana.
  • Cool place. Had lots of info about the town and stuff not related to route 66. Good for pictures and just to walk around a bit in a model old town.
