  • An incredible collection of items related to trekking on Route 66. You really get a flavor of what it was like from the very early days all the way through the present. Quite a collection of memorabil...  more »

  • Great place where i spent 2 hours just for the museum part. The rebuild village is awsome, realist and can you easly imagine how it was in the beginning of the 20century.
  • Fun recreated old western town and multiple museum s. Everyone we encountered was so friendly, informative and helpful. Loved the soda shop ladies!
  • For just a few bucks a person, this kitschy, kitchen-sink local museum might just have something interesting for everyone in the car. It claims to be the Route 66 Museum, but once you get past the first couple buildings (dedicated to the "good ol' days" to an eye-rolling degree for a millennial like me) you're looking at local history exhibits. An interesting glimpse at small-town Americana.
  • Stopped by on my way through Oklahoma. Really excellent museum about the history of route 66 and Elk City. Very extensive, took about 2 hours to enjoy everything, but was worth it. All the employees were super friendly. Definitely recommend!
  • Really enjoyed it. Nice people and great run through Route 66 history. Be sure to have enough time to see all the attractions.
