  • I grew up swimming and working here. Once a thriving business that invited families of all walks of life to come and enjoy the great outdoors and a good party. We had live music every other weekend.  more »
  • Our trip to Red River Hot Springs for our Anniversary was wonderful. The Lodge and rooms are rustic. The lodge is off the grid and laid back and is run by a generator 7:00am to 10:00pm.The rooms light...  more »
  • A fun rustic adventure. The rooms in the Lodge were clean and very large with 10 foot ceilings. The generator only runs from 7 to 10 am and 7 to 10 pm, so those are the only times there is electricity...  more »

  • Why don't you just get a heated swimming pool and leave this rare treasure as a natural hot springs? You could still charge people for natures water. Just let them experience it in a natural setting, not a swimming pool.
  • Had a wonderful time at Red River Hot Springs. We rented a cabin for our 10th anniversary and really enjoyed ourselves. The cabins are very rustic, no power, no water, but the atmosphere is wonderful. The sky at night is incredible and the mineral water is rejuvenating! Management was very nice, laid back atmosphere.
  • It looked nice inside and out, and all the employees where nice, and it was heated ams cooled well, But there was only electricity for a few hours in the evening and a few hours in the morning. The food was pretty good, but the linens and towels where not. All in all, I would give it a pretty low rating, but the staff was GREAT.
  • Yep they're still open. Just talked to one of the nice gentlemen's, and he tells me they are being handed over to a new owner fairly soon. They are still trying to keep it as family-friendly as possible. So if you're a super party animal , wait till after you go swimming please. My family and I visited this place many times in the 80's. It was a lot of fun back then, now that I'm older I hope to find it to be just as wonderful as I remember.
  • Had a great time there for my birthday! Great place.
