  • Whether you are going for a leisurely walk, a fitness run, or nice bike ride, the Conewago Recreation Trail is the place for you. It is mostly flat, being an old rail bed, and is covered with compacte...  more »
  • My boyfriend and I went on the trail for an all day bike ride. We biked the entire 14 mile trail back and forth and it was exhausting but absolutely worth it. Such a beautiful scenery you get to enjoy...  more »
  • 21.75 miles if you count access to the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail. Sufficient parking. Most of it is road-bike worthy but use your trail bike.

  • Great Rail Trail in PA. Connect it with the Lebanon Trail for a very nice bike ride. Then be sure to stop in at Snitz Creek Brewery to have a few fantastic beers. And make sure to hit the Mt. Gretna side trail and see what is happening in that neat little retreat community.
  • Trailhead starts on outskirts of Elizabethtown across from Crowe's Trucking. The parking area is nice. It starts out paralleling ETown road and from a field into eventually forest. Thus segment runs for 5 miles and transitions right into the Lebanon Valley rail trail. Thus section is very well maintained.
  • People are friendly. Lots of chipmunks. Good walking surface
  • Nice flat crushed gravel trail against Conewago Creek...scenic farm vistas and pretty creek views, heavily shaded in parts and wide open farm fields in others. Flat and straight though, so easy and unchallenging running/biking.
