  • Really nice, well done museum with many original artifacts. Once you enter you'll get lost in simpler times and gain an appreciation for the lifestyle we have today! If you visit the area, a must see. 
  • We made the 2 hour drive specially to see the Tiffany exhibit which was small but lovely. Glad it got us there since this is a wonderful museum with lots of history of early America to learn and enjoy...  more »

  • Small museum representing local history of the Albemarle region and North Carolina. Free general admission. Engaging programs for kids; less spectacular for adults. Haphazard organization of volunteers.
  • Great exhibits, Excellent Guides, and great place to hold spectacular events.
  • Small free muesem telling the history of the area. Staff were very nice.
  • Free, they ask for a donation. Loaded with local history. Nice way to spend a couple hours.
