  • Beautiful area for a getaway. Not far from the interstate. The old buildings are interesting and there is lots of room to walk and stretch your legs. Not many comfort facilities though. The bathroom is a run-down closet inside a workshop. No water fountains, no vending machines. If you plan to spend long here, it's best to bring your own refreshments. And it would be nice if they would post some signs with more info on the history of the place.
  • Great place to visit and learn history. Fort Reno was incredibly important to the US Calvary and is beautifully preserved and historic. The US Calvary Association has recently moved a museum here from Kansas. Make sure you visit the old post church and the remote post cemetery to see the World War II POW gravesites.
  • Well maintain history of old fort. Cemetery is original however the fort had been relocated from original location. Well worth visiting.
  • Lots of interesting history
  • Settlers and members of staff of the army are buried in this Cemetery from Fort Reno but behind a low wall, one discovers another cemetery, of foreign prisoners of war of World War II. Italian and German soldiers are buried here, men who were captured in North Africa and interned at the United States never to return home.
