  • The park is clean and litter free. The atmosphere is VERY kid friendly with no foul language and smoking is prohibited. Bringing you own food and snacks is encouraged and the park provides a place for you to eat. The summer and fall months provide the optimal time to come. The seasonal attractions, like the trick-or-treating and Christmas decorations are always my favorite. Since Storybook Land is becoming more popular, their parking lot is expanding at a steady rate. Arrive early to enjoy as much time in the park as possible. I love this place. Have fun.
  • I never write reviews but I was so charmed by this place and was so saddened to see bad reviews (some with incorrect information) that I felt the need to write. The price. Yes, it's $25 per person. However, there are coupons floating around as well as an online discount. Yes, that price adds up if you have multiple people to pay for. But I feel this is a fair price if not a low price. Before complaining, PLEASE realize that this park is impeccably maintained, like Disney World maintained. It's spotless, bathrooms included, no garbage strewn about,, and everything is freshly painted. The owners need to pay someone to keep up this maintenance. They need to pay employees to run the rides. They need to pay for electricity and upkeep. Keep this in mind when you gripe about paying a measly $25. Also, I read a review about someone bringing their 1 year old and saying there's not much to do and they had to pay for the child. There's no charge for 1 year old babies. Once a child turns 2, then they charge admission. I'll leave it at that. Also, you can check before you go what your child is or isn't allowed to ride. Ride info is easy to find on their site. The food. We only had burgers and snacks. We thought the meals were overpriced at first but not compared to other amusement parks. Our burgers were enormous and fresh and were on huge, fresh rolls with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. We got what we paid for. (The pizza left something to be desired though.) As far as the snacks go, they were very reasonably priced. Again, keep in mind the cost of running this place... We've only been a few times but we've never dealt with crowds. We either hop right on rides or wait 2-3 rotations. This is a major factor to us. I would chose this place over Disney any day. It's just as magical for a kid (and clean) but a fraction of the cost and no waits. NO WAITS! Can I tell you how miserable it is to stand on line with a 3 year old? Can I tell you how miserable standing for HOURS is with a 3 year old? Yet people do it and love it. But no waits and a fraction of the cost and people are complaining. I'm confused. We spend the entire day here and often don't fit everything in. It's by no means a large park but bigger than one would expect. And if you take everything in, relax, enjoy, the hours fly by. Yes, the buildings and animatronics are old...but that is what gives this place it's charm. If they took those things away, it would not be the lovely, charming place it is. If you want modern, fast, new, loud, then look elsewhere. If you want good old-fashioned, hard-to-find quiet charm and childhood magic, this is where to find it. I, for one, don't want to see a thing about this place change.
  • Children under eight should enjoy this place very much. Place is well kept and you can tell the owners cherish families to make it so wonderful. Nice you can bring your own food for picnics. Interestingly the bathrooms are air conditioned.
  • Really great place to bring a kid under 8. The rides are well maintained and the ability to ride multiple times is great. Lines are fairly short even on a busy day since there is so much to do. Some of the old animatronic exhibits are a little hokey or dated but the kids typically enjoy them. A little pricey at $25.50 a person but we easily spent 4 hours here. Bubbles the Dragon Rollercoaster and the Treetop swings were my niece's favorites. She also got a kick out of the early 1900's school house and Mary's lamb next door.
  • THE family experience if you're down the shore. What a wonderful day, my daughters and my nephew had a wonderful time. The park is big and IMMACULATE! The staff are friendly, and the attractions are fun. Really impressed, definitely a must do!
