  • The exhibits and shows were fantastic. I loved seeing all of the animals. Some of the employees came across as a bit rude, though. Having said that, I definitely recommend checking them out.
  • This is an excellent place to visit. The animals are very well taken care of and the staff is courteous and knowledgeable. This is definitely a place to put on your to do list when visiting Edisto.
  • I have visited a lot of reptile zoos, but this one it's worth every penny. They have a lot of cute turtles to feed for only 2 quarters. They have several shows you will see each day. 2 Alligator feedings which are joined by some very adaptable vultures that have learned to take advantage of the situation. The alligators are well fed. Adorably plump. The the information and stories are good and funny. They have several snake shows during which a good education that is also entertaining. They also are 1 of the six facilities in the US that provide snake venom to be used to save lives. You get to watch that cool show too. Nice gift shop also. And the entire thing is in the semi shade do you don't have the usual misery of sun baking like at a lot of zoos.
  • WOW!!! What an outstanding experience! There are so many exciting things to see from the alligator feeding to the snake venom extraction! Be sure to put it on your list for exciting things to see on Edisto Island!
  • I was expecting to just look at a lot of snakes, but the amount and variety of reptiles present was quite impressive! I learned a great deal about the local animals and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions.
