Phoenix Park is a public space in downtown Eau Claire, Wisconsin, located on a former brownfield site at the confluence of the Chippewa River and the Eau Claire River. It covers approximately 9 acres with approximately 1/2 mile of riverbank frontage. The park serves as the trailhead for the Chippewa River State Trail. The park also offers a walking labyrinth, a natural amphitheater, and is home to Eau Claire's year-round farmer's market. These amenities make Phoenix Park a major gathering spot, especially during the summer months when the park plays hosts to concerts. The park is owned and operated by the City of Eau Claire.

  • We love that they have music in the park during the summer. They also do the fireworks with music on the 4th of July.
  • The Park is great for hiking, walking, is also starting point to go to the river stay floating on buoys ... There the residents do much this summer, looks really good!

  • Excellent location with lots of activities and people using the beautiful park. The City does a great job maintaining the park and awesome to see all the people coming downtown to use it. There is enough parking area but otherwise walking and biking is an option through the trail system.
  • Once we discovered it, while playing pokemon go, we go there almost everyday. It's a beautiful walk and it's almost always busy with friendly people, also an amazing farmers market. Top 10 spots in eau claire.
  • Eau Claire's most beautiful park, connects with other parks via walking and biking paths. Often, one can find live music or arts evens on the grounds. A weekly hang-out for me and my friends.
  • What can I say? Great location, awesome scenery, if you're in Eau Claire it's a must stop!
  • River, wide open space, climbable statues, bridge over river, lots of fun for kids held here, art market & farmer market are just south of city community gardens!
