    This pathway runs for 165 miles through the scenic section of eastern Pennsylvania. Some folks hike along the trail, others enjoy riding the barges on the canal. I prefer to ride my bike. The bike....  more »

    When the weather is suitable, this is a very nice bike or walk trail. Pictureisk at alot of places with the river and other things you don't see from the road.  more »

    Great place to see at any age! Canal rides are very interesting (the ride does cost money). You can also walk on the towpath and watch the freight trains go by. On the towpath there is information about the canal and nature. Some areas do have public restrooms, some interesting people have lived along the canal.
