  • Gone downhill over the years. I don't like how they "force" you to pick more apples than you want. In order to just get in the orchard, everyone has to purchase a bag. I didn't really want $40 worth of apples. Half of them went bad before we could eat them. Cider is good but not good enough to come back for it. Used to come here when I was a kid 25-30yrs ago. Loved the little petting zoo and cider mill. Sadly will be our family's last time visiting. Theres plenty of other orchards that haven't turned into a tourist trap.
  • I love this place, amazing memories are made here in the fall/Halloween time. I totally recommend this, everyone is so nice, great apple pies, Apple cider etc. They have the best pumpkin patch and apple picking in CT. And nothing tops of your fun day with a fun tractor ride through the apple orchard and the land of the farm! Again I totally recommend coming here if your looking for a fun fall day to spend with your family, loved ones or friends, it's a great way to make memories!!!
  • We visited the farm on a field trip today. This was our first and probably our last trip there. We were very disappointed by the lack of organization. 12.oo per kid and not even a guided tour. No lessons about the orchards or pumpkins. A silent tractor ride with no one to point out the scenery and then no one to ask questions to or escort children through animal park. Way too many groups there at one time. Not enough room for lunch. Chaperones commented on lack of guidance from farm staff as well. Our group alone paid close to $700 and still had to pay an additional $40 for animal feed. All we received for $12.00 was a small pumpkin. VERY disappointing. We recommend Castle Hill in Newtown.
  • They have the best Apple cider I've ever tasted! My kids love feeding the goats and petting the bunnies! They have a cute little store full of knickknacks and there pies/cider donuts are unlike any other, so delicious! They're a bit on the expensive side but worth every penny!
  • We had fun. I want to go back now that my daughter is old enough to enjoy it. The petting zoo is pretty big.
