We have camped here 6 times over the years, and it is always a pleasure. It is close enough to Wenatchee to be convenient to restaurants and shopping, but far enough away to serve as a retreat. The ca... read more »

Stayed at this park on our way south for the winter. Very clean, quiet, spacious, private sites. Enjoyed our walks along the path near the river too!

We went camping here on the fourth of July it was perfect cause the park features a likeness of Abraham Lincoln on the mountain across the Columbia river.there is a basketball court, horseshoe pits, playground, swim area with cement steps surrounded by mountains and a island in the middle and a huge grass area for the kids to run.onsite store onsite boat and jet ski rental and shell gas station at parks entrance.
Really great park. Good camping, nice beach, plenty of parking, good boat ramp. Plenty of shade
Great services and amazing area. The only negative things I can say about it is that sometimes the rangers are rude and sometimes they are inattentive. The two nights we stayed there most recently, someone left their fire going all night and wasn't watching it. The two previous years, Wenatchee had major forest fires after we left, so you'd think they would have a little more thought toward it!
For Washington State Parks, this is one one of the best. Great playground for the kids, large grassy tent sites, good boat ramp/launch, and nice swim area with sand.
Great place for groups and family events. Picnics too. Swimming for all age groups on the Columbia river. The drive through the hills was great. I would go there again. The only disadvantage is if u wanna go there and barbecue you have to carry a gas grill. They don't allow barbecue coal. So be prepared to use gas.
