  • After taking your train ride from East Troy to Mukwonago's Elegant Farmer you might need a real ice cream sundae at a real ice cream parlor. Lauber's is the real deal with traditional soda fountain co...  more »
  • Travel back in time to this amazing ice cream shop. Atmosphere is great. Little on the expensive side but so worth it.  more »
  • Fun Place. Love the atmosphere of feeling like I've gone back in time. Malts were scrumptious. We got some fun candies for the kids that you don't see often. Even had a cherry phosphate made from scra...  more »

  • I went there with a group and it's smaller older building. They had very nice work outfits and they were old fashioned. Its a candy shop and a ice cream parlor in one. People were nice and the atmosphere set you up for back I The day. The ice cream was decent and very neat looking bowls. The one complaint I would have was the menus take some time to read in order to understand what is all in the ice cream. Ice cream ranges roughly around $4-8 with few items more pricey and less pricey. I was glad to have come here and try it out for the first time. L
  • Authentic. Looks a little ragged from the outside, but really neat on the inside. Very good ice cream. For East Troy, perhaps a little too spendy, but I'd go back, so I guess its not.
  • A truly unique experience. It is quite literally like taking a step back in time. It is a hidden treasure of East Troy.
  • I have been coming here for a while now and it is going downhill. As of my most recent experience today I most likely will not return. We had to ask for menus (and we're rudely told "we bring them to you"), our order was taken after the people who sat after us, we even had to go up to pay our bill. The staff was openly talking about previous customers. They were blatantly complaining about one of the ice cream flavors that was ordered they didn't like. WHILE THERE WERE CUSTOMERS! The worst part was the couple who got their order taken first was told they only had to pay $1 for their two sundaes "because the owner was out of town." The couple wanted to pay for their ice cream, but the employee insisted it was only a dollar! Our bill was the normal $10, but after service like that it should have been free.
  • A great small time icecream and soda fountain that holds to the traditions of old with all the tastes today's pallets could enjoy. We stop here all the time as you just can't get this type of experience anywhere else!
