  • We didn't get to visit the beaches but we did use the grounds.. Had a get together and used one of the pavilions.. grounds were clean and well kept. from what we saw the beaches looked very inviting
  • A fun place for the family. Clean. Nice playground. Beach with lifegaurd. Loved sitting on the benches on the hill overlooking the ocean.
  • Great views, smaller crowd. The water is OK, a lot of seaweed and rocky water bed but refreshing on a hot day. Overall a good beach, decent bathrooms and a nice park feature with a play scape and picnic area.
  • My favorite beach in niantic/east lyme. Great beach with very few rocks a floating dock that you can swim out to and a playground so the kids can run back and forth from the beach. Not very crowded usually.
  • Mccook's is our town park and beach in Niantic Connecticut. It's got a very nice Trail on a large Hill that overlooks Long Island Sound, there's a playground for the kids and there's also a beach below that's very nice and small. The children love when the ice cream truck comes that's one of my son's Favorite Things is to go to McCook Point Park and get an ice cream after playing on the playground sets or playing at the beach. I have to say that the playgrounds are wonderful they're theirs 3 large playground sets and one small one for smaller children and there is a swing set which makes for lots of fun.
  • I used to spend a lot of time here when I was a kid. Since then they have made some much needed improvements by adding another pavilion and a more modern playground. And the additional parking definitely supports these improvements and access to the beach. You can spend the entire day here with the family.
  • Cute beach for the 10 minutes we were boogie boards or flotation devices..ok I understand that. But no balls??? We left. Lifeguards were very nice.
