  • I came to SV as a child and am so pleased with it as a new experience for MY children! The park is great for littles maybe 6 and under, even kids as young as 18 mo can get something out of it. The pri...  read more »

  • Once inside I thought all the staff were very friendly. Ticket office not so much but then they don't have to help make kids happy all day. I think under 3 is pushing it a bit although there are still...  read more »
  • so disappointed in Santa's Village this year! we have been season ticket holders for 3 years now and have never had a problem. Apparently this year they changed the policy on coolers that they had to be a certain size to come into the park. Understandable, but there was NO notification on this, they claimed they sent an email to ticket holders which is b.s. because out of the 7 of us who hold season passes, not one of us got an email! I spoke to two supervisors Samantha and another gentleman who were not accommodating at all or sympathetic to my situation. They stated that it is posted in front when you purchase tickets.. but at that point your already here and it's too late. They also said it was put into the frequently asked questions section on the website, but if you are a frequent visitor or a seasoned veteran you don't have any questions. I have two daughters who have multiple food allergies and can't eat anything in park due to cross contamination. The park needs to have new policies and updates for the season posted on the website clearly for people to see( not so you have to go searching). This situation ruined our trip and could have been avoided had the park done a better job of informing people or maybe be a little more accommodating to people this early in the season. Unfortunately the way the supervisor and park handled my situation, I don't think we will be renewing our membership for next year. This is not how you treat customers or season ticket holders who have faithfully come every year to help support the park and enjoy family time.. shame on you!
  • My kids had so much fun.... Usually I'm the one doing the speed walking telling them to catch up but now it was the other way around. Running ready to get in another ride just after getting off the last one. They loved the animals and the rides so much for them to do. We all had a blast including myself. It brought out my inner child and took me back in time to when my mom brought me here. Also to all the adults writing reviews this is more like a childs place to have fun... Not aimed to please the adult... If your kids were happy that's all that should matter..... The manager also gave us 5 free tickets... We had to leave after 2 hours due to my son getting sick from the heat... The staff was very nice, (even before that happened) everyone was great, the park was clean, all the rides were up and running, all the animals were out, we will be going back when it cools down!!!! We love Santa's Village!!!
  • Many rides for the whole family, no "thrill rides", many animals to see and feed by hand, super affordable entrance fee and food, short lines (went back to back on a Friday & Saturday) and free parking. Many incredibly friendly employees. My 6- & 14-yr-old absolutely love this place.
  • I loved that this place has so many rides my 5 year old niece can go on and I feel safe putting her on them. It does get expensive when you have more than two people in your group but to me it's worth it. Plus being able to bring your own food and water in defiantly helps keep food costs down.
  • Very clean, probably best for the under 12 age group. Beautiful large oaks provide shade for waiting moms. As a professional horticulturist, I enjoyed the beautiful gardens and landscaping. Far superior to other theme parks in Northern Illinois.
