  • We went to participate in their Knee High Explorers program. It is a free group geared for Toddlers and Preschoolers. They, plus their adult, get a guided walk with a theme for the week. Our guide stopped to identify several types of trees and tracks for us. We stopped at the yurt and played a quick match game (footprints to their animal), then went on to two look out points and a hollow tree. The trails were a bit icy in spots. They can't do much about that, but they did let us know it would be as well as offer loaner grips for shoes. The guide walked a little fast for a group of kids this age, as a result a second group sort of formed made up of some of the slower kids. The walk/tour is free. Parking is $5 per visit or $50 for a one year pass.
  • Great place! Great hikes! Great people! Watch out for the moose & bear!
  • Beautiful hiking and views. Bring exact change for parking since the office hours are irregular and you'll need to pay via envelope.
  • Nice trails and a cool building with bathrooms and educational material. There are also yurts available for rent on the associated trails.
  • Beautiful area with well maintained trails and viewing platforms. The trails take you through woods, meadows, and wetlands. Plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities. Watch for moose and bears!
