  • Let's start with the obvious about Stone Mountain. It is well off the beaten path and the last two miles is up a (mostly) single lane road where if you meet someone along the way, someone has to back ...  more »
  • Wife and I stopped here on a Tuesday afternoon and received a personal tour from the new owner. OMG what a view this place has from the huge deck of a beautiful tasting room. New owners have many plan...  more »
  • We stopped here while going to several vineyards in the area. It's definitely off the beaten path. I recommend either all-wheel or 4-wheel drive to get here as you have to wind up the mountain. But if...  more »

  • Gorgeous wood cabin in the foothills of the Shenandoah Mountains. Memorial Day 2017 was the great reopening for the new owners. The original owners sold it, but the granddaughter of the original owners stayed on and works there. They have live music sometimes, a resident friendly dog, and a beautiful view. The smaller selection isn't what you find at commercial vineyards, instead it's focused and done right. This was the only 5-star vineyard from my weekend trip. The drive up was perfectly fine, disregard the people complaining in reviews. It's not the owners responsibility to maintain a road, either. As long as you don't drive it in a Ford Pinto during a storm, you'll be fine.
  • Amazing million dollar views, wonderful friendly atmosphere. It is a must see must taste place! The owners and staff are extremely kind and welcoming. Don't worry about the roads and drive....it's well worth it!!
  • Beautiful view, but the road up is treacherous. Steep, gravel, single lane, with few places to pullover for oncoming traffic.
  • I love this place, great views and great people and delicious wine! I will definitely go back!
  • Great wine, great place, great view! Worth the drive!
