The clean and modern ballpark,Durham Bulls, is the home of the minor league Durham Bulls, the inspiration for the romantic comedy film, "Bull Durham." The 1988 movie actually predates the 10,000-seat brick park, which was built in 1995. When you take in a game here, look out for the giant bull standing above the Blue Monster--the 9.5 m (32 ft) left-field wall that resembles the Green Monster in Boston's Fenway Park. The organization offers all kinds of promotions to draw fans, so see what's on the schedule for your visit. Make Durham Bulls a part of your Durham vacation plans using our Durham itinerary builder.

  • This is a fantastic ballpark to visit with kids. They do so much to keep everybody entertained. Thursday night is a great night togo because of certain one dollar concessions.
  • Watching the Durham Bulls or Duke baseball play games here is always fun. There are activities for the kids, fun food, an in-house brewery & much more. Great place for groups, families & singles like ...  read more »
  • Good parking in clean well kept area. No problem bringing family for fun. Well lit with good amenities and friendlt staff. Well worth a visit....
  • It's an absolutely gorgeous park from the inside out. I've been to several minor league parks in Florida, but I have to say I enjoy this one the best. There is a wide variety of foods and drink to choose from at decent prices (for a ballpark). I managed to get $5 knocked off my food purchase with my ticket that was purchased online, so I'd suggest paying attention to promotions. Being a minor league park, just about every seat in the house is close to the action and sitting about 5 or 6 rows from the visitors dugout cost $21 a ticket. All-in-all it was a great experience and I'll definitely be going back next time I come to town.
  • The stadium is fantastic! It's got everything you want (at ballpark prices but that's to be expected). Lot's of stuff for families, adults, just about everyone. Only downside was the team losing 11-1, but otherwise, a ton of fun! Highly recommend you catch a game!
  • Team made famous by the movie Bull Durham really exists! The Durham Bulls are the AAA affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. The park is cute and modeled after Fenway, with some of its own features like a giant smoke breathing red-eyed bull that comes to life when the Bulls hit a home run. The tickets are usually reasonably priced $9+, but the food and beverages are closer to big league prices ($7 beer, $4 hot dog) than I'd like. Wool E. The Bull has fun and games to keep the kids and adults laughing between innings. The park has wifi and is overall a good family friendly destination. Their Star Wars night and Bark in the Park are especially popular.
  • Just a great ballpark. Perfect for a family outing and kids love it here!! Check out tobacco campus across the street.. The kids can never get enough of the river flowing through the middle. Especially beautiful at night when everything is lit up!!
  • I was raised on baseball and having a great team like the bulls asked me to continue that tradition with my family! it is so much fun to bring your family to the ballfield! if you are trying to get your best deal, Thursdays they have $1 hot dogs. :)
