  • I would give it five stars but I am a UNC grad. The grass is kept well and the buildings are beautiful but they all look the same. Go the Chapel Hill to see the Southern Part of Heaven, Thomas Wolfe.  more »
  • I enjoyed walking around the campus and seeing all of the architecture of the buildings. It is a truly beautiful campus. Great experience at the campus book store as well to buy souvenirs.  more »

  • My nostalgia for this place is off the charts--just wish I could have known then what I know now so that I could have much better appreciated my experience, the professors, the courses and the life knowledge that I learned in the 1970s. The constellations of memories I have are bitterly sweet as I remember those who I knew who are deceased. My consolation is that I studied comparative religion and therefore I learned that memories may in fact survive the death of the physical body, and I learned that storehouses of memories may exist that link us back--hook us back up with--those experiences and beings who many would say are gone.
  • One of the more picturesque campuses in the country. Beautiful architecture, Duke chapel, the gardens, Cameron indoor and tons of new building going on including a new Medical school and some serious additions to the Medical center. The libraries on campus all offer a unique charm and they've added a number of coffee shops that make studying even more caffeinated! A beautiful afternoon walk and a great place to people watch if you've got a chance. Love the local vendors that reside near the student union building and west campus fields are great for intramural sports. Overall, an incredible place!
  • Duke University is one of the best universities in the country and the world. Truly a world-class institution of higher learning, this prestigious university is world-renowned for its social and academic impact and its beautiful campus. Decent basketball team, too!

  • When I get older I'd love to play football here
