The Choctaw Casino Bingo was built in 1987 and was the first of the Choctaw gaming franchise. In 2006, the original $60 million resort (now known as the South Casino) was completed with the construction. Soon after completion, tribal officials determined they built too small for their clientele and went underway with an expansion. In February 2010, a larger casino was built adjacent to the existing resort and became known as the North Casino. The Grand Hotel Tower is built atop the North Casino. The Bingo Hall then closed in shortly after the opening of the expansion.

  • By casino standards in Oklahoma, this is the best I have been to. Vegas quality. Cigarette smoke was noticable but not horrible.  more »
  • Its a casino - loud, noisy, bright lights, etc. Smoking allowed in casino, wish it was not, but the air was pretty clean. I would have liked a smoke free area for slots as an option. The majority of f...  more »

  • This casino was so much fun! Went during the week for a birthday and we were treated so wonderfully. It was not very busy, so we got to check out most any slot machine we wanted and the staff working that day would check in on us every now and again to make sure we were having fun and point us to areas people generally like to "try their luck". Everyone who worked there was very friendly. Would be a great place to stop on a road trip to stretch your legs as a family too. They have an arcade section that has a bowling alley and arcade w/laser tag... the kids would have a blast! Right near that is a small food court too, with some tasty name brand fast foods. There is also a pretty great looking swimming pool. Some of us won, some did not...but we all agreed it was fun and that we would for sure be back to try again in the future. Thank you for the great time!
  • Clean, modern and comfortable. Plenty to do with the pool theater, bowling alley and arcade. Plenty of good food at reasonable prices. The pool is great for the whole family. I'm not much of a gambler and I had a great time. Rooms are nice as well!!
  • The rooms are very nice. The beds are comfortable. There's lots if food options. Buffet had very good food. Lots and lots of machines. The meeting rooms are beautiful. There's beautiful art, beautiful wall coverings and lively carpet
  • Nice rooms, but small, if you stay in the spa Tower make sure you do not get the executive room, they are very small and have a huge pillar in the middle of the room, and if the room is not on a high floor your view is just going to be of a roof with a bunch of air conditioners. I am not a fan of their Barn Door for the bathroom and not having an actual shower door that will close where you're wiping up water all over the bathroom. I don't know why so many places have gone to these open showers were you cannot get a good Steam and stay warm while you're showering.
  • An incidental, enjoyable stop at Choctaw Casino McAlester two days before last Christmas, during a road trip from Texas to Missouri, piqued my interest in Choctaw Durant, a short, easy drive from my home in North Texas. My husband and I began frequenting Choctaw Casino Durant every weekend for a month -- until yesterday, Sunday. The slots...ARE NOT...PAYING!!!! Two sets of penny slots, in particular, paid far better last Saturday morning, March 4, than they did the next evening! All seem to be reprogrammed NOT to display the winning combinations the reels repeatedly showed a day earlier and weekends earlier. AVOID!!!! BIG, BIG----- MONEY GRAB!!!!! WHY???! OH, WHY----, can't you allow patrons to win enough to want to return, which also improves your reputation which draws more thrill-seekers??? Instead, you want us to return hoping to recoup some of our losses. GREEDY SHAME!!!!
