Where to stay in Durango

Immerse yourself in Durango's rich history by staying in one of downtown's turn-of-the-century hotels, where the buildings' brick architecture highlights a bygone era. Not only do these pack plenty of character, they offer proximity to the majority of the town's eateries, stores, and attractions. A motel farther out of town is typically cheaper, while a rural bed and breakfast is ideal for a romantic getaway. For an authentic western Colorado experience, consider a dude ranch on the outskirts.

  • Durango has a great rec center. I have been to rec centers all over the western slope and many are similar but I think Durango has the best. The indoor track is nice, the equipment is clean and modern.
  • We went with our two year old to the pool. The kids pool here is fantastic. Plenty of stuff to do and a large area to do it in. You are bound something your little one will enjoy.
  • The pool is great me and my fam love it. I love the pool they have a nice slide and a great hot tub. You should definitely go. It's low price and it has free stuff to.
  • The swimming pool is grate and the prices are good and the front desk people are helpful however that is not the case with the lifeguards are ether yelling at the kids for no reason or talk to each other not even making sure the kids are safe.
  • Nice facility. Great deal on a day pass. I'm new to the area and realized I need to check out other instructor's though. Zumba offered in the evening is mostly just a bunch of confused women watching the instructor dance. No instruction included in the class...and not really a true Zumba class.
