  • There's a big idea here but I would come during a re-enactment weekend or something. Quick 3 minute video and then artifacts from civil war era--not just civil war here.
  • It was a great set up to learn about the civil war and what happened there
  • I recommend this place to everyone.
  • Very interesting exhibits and the people that volunteer there really love their job, it makes all the difference!
  • We bring grandchildren for history lessons during summer visits. Out of State relatives are amazed at just what happened in Our States back yards.
  • The country around the battlefield is gorgeous and well worth the drive. The visitor's center was surprisingly stuffed with artifacts, especially for a small, privately run endeavor. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful; an incredibly well-preserved slice of North Carolina history.
