  • I took 3 boys ages 7-14 to Splash Universe. I will start with the positives. The area surrounding the hotel was super nice. Cabella's right across the street. A great downtown area. My 7 year old love...  more »
  • Great location has always worked great for a quick get away for Ohio families. Well kept and safe. We had ages from 8 to 13 and all stayed entertained.  more »

  • We live close by, and want to visit while family was in town. The temperature of the room and water was perfect. The kids area was a little warmer which I really appreciated. My daughter loved the lazy river, and my son the kids area and slides. The main play area had enough things to keep all the lines short and moving. The life guards were very attentive and always walking around and alert. They switched positions often. The cost is a bit high for me while my kids are so young (5 and 6) but the June special was half off. We will look into that again next year.
  • My daughter had a wonderful time. She loved the bunk beds in the room. Front desk I originally booked the room with messed something up but the staff that was there when I checked in completely made up for it. Would definitely go again. Was fun for adults as well
  • The room's and services was great. I just wished the other guest would have been more courteous of the posted rules. Can't wait to tell a friend about our visit see you again soon.
  • They need a minimum level of decency policy for who is allowed in. We go there quite often but the last couple trips have been pretty awful. Many guests treat the place like their own private wastebaskets. The bathrooms are disgusting with trash and clothing all over the place. The toilets are rarely clean and almost never flushed. The last two times we were there they had to clear the pool because of an "incident" in the water. Also, there's been a noticeable uptick public arguments and violence between guests. I think because this is the only decent size indoor park in southeast Michigan that it attracts all walks of life. Go Friday during the day for a chance at peaceful family fun. Go Saturday night for ghetto gangster nastiness.
  • Most of the staff was very nice to my stepdaughter and her friends. The lifeguards were attentive and polite, and so was the concessions staff. However, one male lifeguard running the nets was rude because the park was closing. Without warning, he kicked out the kids who had been patiently waiting for around 15 minutes, instead of just not letting anyone else get in line. I felt this could have been handled better because young children don't necessarily understand the concept of "closing time."
